This information is for Teachers only
If you are a teacher and are unable to see any of these options, please contact avsupport.dance@trinitylaban.ac.uk
  1. Log in to eStream
  2. Click the “Create Media Options” icon
  3. If you have a file on your computer to upload – click the “Upload Media” option, if you have a Teams meeting, click the “Microsoft Teams Meeting” option.
  4. Select the file you want to upload.
  5. On the Video Upload Options window that pops up:
    • a. Uncheck the “Use filename for title” checkbox and fill in the Title field as such: [Module code] Brief Description (for example: [D70033] Week 10 – Hydration and Preventing Injuries or [M70044a] Introduction to Learning Theories, you can include multiple module codes if a resource is for multiple modules, ie [D70033 / D70012] Week 10)
    • b. (Optional) Add a description with the content of the recording
    • c. Ensure that the Academic Year relates to the relevant Academic Year
    • d. Under Access Limitations, decide whether students can or can’t view this recording.
    • e. (Optional) Click the Show More Fields button and fill in the additional details.
    • f. Location: select Class/Teaching Resource if you’re happy for students (if they have access) to be able to download the recording, or alternatively select Class/Teaching Resource (Non Downloadable) if you’d rather students can’t download it.
    • g. Select the Categories – click the button. Most of the categories you can add to will be under the root Class / Teaching Resources category, so click the expand category icon to see the selectable sub-categories. Please note that you can add a recording to multiple categories (ie, BMus 1 & BMus 2)
    • h. Scroll back to the top of the window, and on the right hand side you’ll see the ability to set a Publish on date and an Expiry date. Expiry dates have to be set, and default to 365 days, but you can select a different date if required.

Once the recording is uploaded, it is converted into a file which is optimised for online streaming. It then goes into an approval queue where it will be reviewed by a member of the Creative Technology Services team. This normally happens within 1 working day, however, if there’s an urgent need for a recording to be published faster, please contact avsupport.dance@trinitylaban.ac.uk
